Outbound Calls
Phone calls that the voice agent initiates and makes to customers, as opposed to incoming calls.
Outbound Calls are calls the voice agent makes proactively — not waiting for the customer to call. Common uses: following up on new leads, appointment reminders, satisfaction surveys, and order updates. An AI agent can make hundreds of outbound calls per day without fatigue. According to InsideSales, proactive response within 5 minutes increases conversion chances by 9x (Source: InsideSales, 2023).
