Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Introduction
Yappr ("we", "our", "the Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our AI-powered voice agent platform. This policy applies in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law (1981) and the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security) 2017.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information: • Account details: Name, email address, phone number, and billing information. • Usage data: Call logs, call durations, agent configurations, and settings. • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers. • Voice data: Call recordings and transcriptions when enabled by the user.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Provide and maintain our voice agent services. • Process payments and billing. • Improve and train our AI models for better service quality — see Section 4 regarding AI training data use and your opt-out options. • Send important service notifications. • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Data Retention and AI Training
We retain your call data, recordings, and transcriptions indefinitely, for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion. This long-term retention is a core part of the service: we are an AI voice agent company, and the quality of our product depends directly on historical call data. Improving the platform for your benefit requires retaining data over time. Data used for AI training undergoes Anonymization and removal of personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, identity numbers, and payment details before any use for training purposes. Opting out of AI training: You may request that your call data not be used for AI training by emailing [email protected]. Please note that opting out results in a 2x usage rate on a per-minute basis, as your data no longer contributes to platform improvements. Data deletion: You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will process and confirm deletion within 30 days.
5. Data Storage and Security
We store your data on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, regular security audits, and compliance with the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security) 2017.
6. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: • Third-party service providers operating on our behalf, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, voice communication infrastructure providers, and AI technology providers. All providers are bound by confidentiality and data security obligations. • Law enforcement when required by law. • Business partners with your explicit consent.
7. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Protection Law (1981), you have the right to: • Access and obtain a copy of your personal data. • Correct inaccurate information. • Request deletion of your data — we will process the request within 30 days. • Object to use of your data for AI training (see Section 4). • Port your data — contact us by email and we will provide your data within 30 days. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies required for the operation of the Service (user authentication, security, preference storage). These cookies cannot be disabled without affecting Service functionality. For non-essential cookies we request your consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Consent is managed via Google Consent Mode v2 — third-party tracking tools on the site do not run until you authorize them, and you can withdraw consent at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of every page. Tools we use (subject to your consent): • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, for understanding how the site is used, heatmaps, and anonymized session recordings. • Marketing cookies — Meta Pixel and Google Ads, for measuring campaign performance, building lookalike audiences, and attributing leads back to their advertising source. On the "Try it" form, alongside your name and phone, we collect data for marketing and product improvement: UTM parameters, click IDs (fbclid, gclid, etc.), pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc), device info, timezone, IP-derived country (only), landing page, and time on page. This data is used for lead quality scoring, campaign attribution, and securely sending conversion events to ad platforms server-side.
